A day in Cheltenham & a new chapter

After receiving a place at Gloucestershire University to study law, I managed to take in all the scenic sights Cheltenham had to offer on a family day trip. From quirky independent shops, to high end luxuries like Jo Malone- Cheltenham has the ideal idyllic, yet buzzing city vibe everyone can enjoy.

The Uni exuberated class and comfort through the rural feel, and made me feel thoroughly excited about starting a new chapter, studying somewhere that made me feel at home. The University itself is situated new Montpellier Park, a stunning setting with a lovely little cafe within the grounds. Perfect for an afternoon Pimms in the Summer or an ice cream with younger ones.

We managed to do a little shopping, pick up some chocolates and bath bombs, have a stop for a bite to eat in Strada and nose around for a little future night life.

There is plenty of culture surrounding the city with beautiful monuments, buildings, and history dotted around the parks on posters and galleries(with one having a little Labrador curled up in the doorway).

I particularly adored this piece of artwork within the Castle Fine Art Gallery which I would highly recommend you to visit for awesome comic art and more. I learnt a whole array of things about multiple artists and their travel when on my visit here.

Thank you for reading,
